BRUSH CREEK

UPPER CREEK - Canoeing the upper creek is seasonal and depends on water levels. At certain levels, these upper sections can be dangerous, and we recommend it for the more experienced canoeist. From Serpent Mound to the Twin Bridges at Route 348, the rapids twist and turn in ever direction. Fishing is very good when the water level permits. Reservations required.

SCIOTO RIVER

LOWER CREEK - The lower creek is a more relaxed run. The rapids stretch into longer and wider sections to the pool level on the Ohio River, just past Beasley Fork. Declared a no-wake zone, the last five miles are canoeable year-round no matter the water level. The fishing is excellent and very accessible.

The Scioto River is navigable year-round for strips from 6 to 100 miles or more. With it's gentle flow and massive sand and gravel beaches, the Scioto River is an enjoyable float for all ages. A perfect beach for a rest or picnic awaits around every bend. Reservations required.
